The University Health Centre at Queen's runs a travel clinic for both registered and private patients on a Wednesday afternoon and evening between March and July of each year. We also provide Travel advice appointments throughout the year. This service is staffed by clinicians who specialise in Travel.
To make an appointment phone 028 90975551.
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - to allow time for some vaccinations courses.
Most travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because travel vaccination is not included in the services provided by the NHS and therefore is a chargeable service.
For a list of prices please see our list of Travel Charges for 2010.
Please note that we do not currently have credit or debit card facilities.
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment at the travel clinic to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required. There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below
